In association with CHEA of California, Notgrass History is hosting three workshops in Southern California about the homeschooling experience of President Theodore Roosevelt. Ray and Charlene Notgrass are veteran homeschooling parents and history writers. Ray will talk about the accomplishments of President Roosevelt, and Charlene will examine the training he received at home that prepared him for public service. Their presentation will include historic photographs of the Roosevelt family.
This workshop is designed for all ages. We will have an interactive worksheet for students with the opportunity to win prizes. Each family who attends will receive a free copy of Charlene's illustrated book Homeschooling: The Making of Theodore Roosevelt.
You will also have the opportunity to learn how Notgrass History can help you teach the heart, soul, and mind of your child. Each family who attends will receive a special coupon for $10 off a Notgrass History purchase (valid through February 28, 2018). If you choose to make a purchase using your code, a portion of the proceeds will go to support the work of CHEA in providing year-round support to homeschooling families in California.
